Workshop and office buildings

D:4 carried out the planning of a workshop and office building for the special machine manufacturer Saphir.

Saphir's agricultural machinery centre is located in the immediate vicinity of the A1 motorway and is clearly visible from there with its large advertising space and vehicle presentation in the outdoor area. The centrepiece and first component of the concept is the concise Saphir workshop and sales area, the planning and construction of which was supervised by D:4.

The building consists of a two-storey sales and design office including staff area and event room in the front area and an adjacent workshop hall in the rear area. Machines from the grassland technology and yard, industrial and municipal technology sectors are assembled here on 1,500 m². The close connection between development and production ensures effective work processes. A spacious outdoor area provides space for the exhibition of agricultural machinery.

The front part of the building opens on the ground floor via a completely glazed façade to the outside areas. A special feature of the building is the textile membrane that covers the upper floor of the office wing and symbolises technical innovation and clear lines. With its striking design, it also functions from a distance as an advertising space for the Saphir brand.

The design concept of the building complex takes up the special usage requirements of the machine manufacturer. The sale and technical support of large agricultural machinery and special accessories take place in a clear, ergonomic and customer-friendly environment.
