The architectural firm D:4 has realized the planning and construction of a workshop and office building for the special machinery manufacturer Saphir. The company's agricultural machinery center is located in the immediate vicinity of the A1 freeway and is a striking landmark thanks to its highly visible advertising space and the external presentation of vehicles.

Central element: the workshop and sales area

The heart of the construction project is the striking Saphir workshop and sales area. This area, which was managed by D:4, is the first building block of the comprehensive concept for the center.

Design elements: transparency and innovation

The front of the building features a fully glazed façade on the first floor, which opens up the sales area to the outside. The textile membrane that envelops the upper floor of the office wing is particularly striking. This membrane symbolizes both technical innovation and clear architectural lines and also functions as a highly visible advertising space for the Saphir brand.

Functional building structure

The building is divided into two main sections. The front section comprises a two-storey sales and design office, which also has a staff area and an event room. The rear part consists of a spacious workshop hall, in which machines from the fields of grassland technology, yard, industrial and municipal technology are assembled on an area of 1,500 m². The close integration of development and production ensures smooth workflows and efficiency in the work process.

Outdoor area: Presentation of the machines

A spacious outdoor area rounds off the concept and offers sufficient space for displaying the agricultural machinery, which further strengthens the company's presence on site and represents an important part of the customer approach.

Customer-friendly and ergonomic environment

The design concept of the entire building complex takes into account the specific requirements of the machine manufacturer. Sales and technical support for the large agricultural machines and special accessories take place in a clear, ergonomic and customer-friendly environment that is pleasant and efficient for both employees and customers.
